At PowerWord we’re not just really good software engineers and product people, but we’re also authors—all of us.
When we set out to build PowerWord, we didn’t even look at what others were building. What we did do was forge ahead to create a tool that we ourselves would want to use; something that would make our stories, books, and novels much more polished and produced.
What we did not set out to do was build a tool that would write your stories for you. That kind of thing is what turns writers and authors off about AI.
The primary goal of PowerWord was to proofread and correct the common mistakes we all make as writers. Next, we set out to help authors improve their work by summarizing and even challenging us with a “rewrite” feature that would make suggestions to help us out when the inevitable “writer’s block” shows up.
Then we took PowerWord a step further and gave it a translate feature allowing you to expand your market by translating your stories and books into another language. And the transition is not just rudimentary, it’s damn near fantastic!
But we are far from though making PowerWord a magnificent tool for writers, editors, and authors of all backgrounds and skill levels. Over the next few months, PowerWord will evolve with new features other AI tools only wished they had.
